The Agent Toolbox is a free set of hands-free tools your on-glasses assistant can use during a job — fill in forms, take and read photos, search the web, and message customers, all by voice. It's included free for every account, so your engineers can do paperwork and admin without ever reaching for a phone or laptop.

What's in the toolbox

The Agent Toolbox bundle includes:

  • Forms — fill out a job form (like a gas safety record / CP12, a service sheet, or a risk assessment) by talking through it as you work. The assistant captures what you say, fills the form, and attaches the finished PDF to the job. See Forms for the full picture.
  • Vision tools — take a photo from the glasses, read a value off a data plate, or have the assistant circle a part for you. See Vision tools.
  • Web Search — look something up online by voice mid-job (a part price, a nearby stockist, a supplier's number) and have the answer read back to you.
  • Send SMS — text a customer from your own business number (e.g. "let the customer know I'm running 20 minutes late").
  • Send Email — email a customer from your own domain, optionally attaching a document (the completed certificate) or a photo taken on the glasses.

Two kinds of tools

Ready straight away (Forms, Vision tools + Web Search). These work the moment the free Agent Toolbox is active on your account — there's nothing to set up.

Connect your account first (SMS + Email). Texting and emailing send from your accounts, so they bill to you, come from your number and your domain, and use your sender reputation. You connect those once in Integrations:

  • Send SMS needs your Twilio account connected.
  • Send Email needs your Resend account connected.

Until you connect them, those two tools stay locked — the assistant simply won't offer them on the glasses, and you'll see a "Connect Twilio / Connect Resend to enable" prompt on the bundle's Skills tab. The moment you connect, they switch on. Your credentials are stored in an encrypted secure vault and are only ever used server-side to send on your behalf.

Forms — filling paperwork by voice

The Forms tool turns form-filling into a conversation:

  1. Start a form. Say something like "start the gas safety form" on the job. The assistant pulls up the right template.
  2. Talk it in. As you work through the property, just say what you find — "boiler's a Worcester Greenstar 30i in the kitchen", "operating pressure 20 millibar", "all safety checks pass". The assistant records each value against the form. Say the same thing once and it fills every open form that needs it, so a CP12 and a CP6 don't mean entering the same details twice.
  3. Review. Ask "what's left?" or "read it back" any time.
  4. Complete. Say "complete the form" — the assistant fills the form, checks every value is correct, turns it into a PDF, and attaches it to the job in your field-service software.

Where forms come from

Open the Forms tab in Skills & Knowledge to manage your forms. You can:

  • Import a standard form from the platform library (e.g. the Landlord Gas Safety Record / CP12) — ready to use instantly.
  • Upload your own branded form or job sheet. When you upload one, the fields are detected automatically, so the assistant knows what goes where — no manual setup.

Forms with photo boxes (like a Job Report) take pictures the engineer snaps on the glasses straight into the document. See Forms for the detail.

Vision tools — the camera helps too

Three tools let the assistant use the glasses camera, all by voice:

  • Take a photo — "take a photo for the report". The picture is saved to the form, attached to the job, or turned into a link to email.
  • Read a value — "read the GC number off the boiler". The assistant reads a number, label or code off whatever you're looking at, exactly as printed.
  • Point to a part — "where is the gas valve". The assistant finds it and circles it on your glasses.

Full detail on the Vision tools page.

Email and SMS in the field

Once connected, these unlock some of the most useful hands-free moments on a job:

  • "Send the customer their gas safety certificate" — the assistant attaches the completed cert and emails it from your domain.
  • "Take a photo of the meter and email it to the office."
  • "Send the job report to the landlord."
  • "Text the customer to say I'm on my way."

The assistant always reads the message back to you and waits for a "yes" before anything is sent, so nothing goes out without your say-so.

Company details auto-fill

Set your company details once in Settings → Company (registered name, address, phone, email, registration and tax numbers) and the assistant fills the business section of every form for you — your engineers only ever dictate the readings, never the company boilerplate. This works whether or not you have a field-service integration connected.

Getting the toolbox

The Agent Toolbox is free and shows up as a bundle in your Marketplace. Once it's active on your account, the ready-to-use tools work immediately, and SMS/Email light up as soon as you connect Twilio and Resend in Integrations.
