Powered Now integration
Connect Powered Now with one OAuth sign-in: jobs sync as tasks, training results write back, and the AI gets hands-free job tools.
Powered Now is a job-management, invoicing, and field-service app built for UK trade businesses. Connect it to TrainAR to import your jobs as tasks, post training results and documents back onto the job, and give the AI assistant hands-free Powered Now tools during sessions.
Powered Now support is in final rollout. If the Powered Now card in Dashboard - Integrations does not show Connect yet, it is arriving shortly.
What syncs
Into TrainAR (real-time webhooks + 15-minute polling):
- Powered Now jobs become tasks in TrainAR. New and changed jobs arrive instantly via webhooks; a 15-minute background sync keeps everything reconciled.
- Each task carries the job's project number, description, customer summary, due date, and appointments.
- Closing a job in Powered Now completes the matching task; deleting a job archives it.
Back to Powered Now (when Sync direction = Import + Export):
When a training session is completed against a Powered Now-sourced task, TrainAR posts a completion note onto the job with the task title, completed-by name and email, score, duration, a session link, and any completion notes. Completed form PDFs from the session (job sheets, certificates) are attached to the job as documents.
Writeback never changes the job's status. TrainAR won't close, reopen, or move your jobs - what happens to the job after training is your team's call, in Powered Now.
What you will need
- A Powered Now account.
- Admin access to TrainAR. That's it - there are no API keys to copy.
Setup
Powered Now uses secure OAuth - you sign in to Powered Now and approve access.
- Dashboard → Integrations → Powered Now card → Connect.
- Click Connect with Powered Now. A Powered Now sign-in window opens.
- Sign in and click Authorise. You're returned to the dashboard with the connection live; TrainAR registers its webhooks automatically and runs an initial job sync.
- In the post-connection setup, choose whether writeback is on (Import + Export).
Hands-free AI tools
Once connected, the AI assistant gets Powered Now tools it can use by voice during a session:

Sync model
Job changes arrive via webhook within seconds. The 15-minute poll is a safety net that reconciles anything a webhook missed. Use Re-sync on the card for an immediate full pull.
Troubleshooting
- The connect popup closes but the card doesn't show Connected. Refresh the Integrations page. If it still shows disconnected, run Connect again - the OAuth approval may have timed out.
- Jobs aren't appearing as tasks. Check the connection status on the card and use Re-sync. Only jobs (not quotes or invoices) become tasks.
- Tasks come in unassigned. Powered Now jobs don't always carry an assignee email, so assignment on import is limited - assign the task in TrainAR, or rely on the engineer picking up the job from their task list.
